National Examination Day at Mwaji Secondary School
National examinations are a part of the Tanzanian educational process. We are very proud of these orphan students for trying to overcome adversity. And they are well on their way with an education.
New Classroom of Orphan Nursery School Students
Our 3rd school project, the Isandula Center near Vwawa, Tanzania, has 70 nursery school students already. Here is a group with their teacher. This is in our first classroom there. Two more are under construction.
Isandula Center Orphans
Here are some of the orphans that go to our 3rd school that we are building. There are about 30 more, too.
Delivery of Construction Materials
Another load of lumber and reinforcement bar on the way to the Mwaji Secondary School!
Inside the Girls’ Dormitory
The individual rooms in the girls’ dormitory receive their foundations and start taking shape.
From the Road to the Dormitory
The girl’s dormitory is viewed from the mud road below. There are many orphans who are looking forward to living here in the future. It still won’t be enough room. We already have 130 students at the Mwaji Secondary School and we have about 60-70% girls. And we love our girls!
Girls’ Dormitory Rising
The girls’ dormitory at the Mwaji Secondary School is rising from the ground! Imagine living in Bujela in this dormitory as a young orphan girl. Monkeys are swinging in the trees and school is next door!
Mwaji Secondary Girls’ Dormitory
These red bricks assembled with cement will stand for decades. The orphan girls who will eventually live here will be safe and have their own place. Being an orphan girl on the street or having to live from place to place as circumstances change is not conducive to education or development. Just think of the thousands of orphans that can be served over the decades. See what you donors are doing!
