OA is finishing building a primary / secondary school in Majohe, on the outskirts of Dar Es Salaam, including providing a new well, restrooms, dormitories, textbooks, supplies, and desks. |

There are 2.5 million orphans in Tanzania, only a fraction of which have an opportunity for an education. For a minimal cost, you can sponsor an orphan to attend school, changing his or her life forever. |

Unlike primary school, secondary school is not free to students in Tanzania, making it cost-prohibitive to any orphans who wish to continue their education beyond the 6th grade level (Standard 7). In a small mountainous village in Western Tanzania, on land donated by the community, MOP leaders have built a secondary school out of sticks and thatch. Inside, eighty-four orphans must sit in shifts, shoulder-to-shoulder upon benches hewn from logs as they listen intently to their algebra lesson. The teachers are all volunteers, receiving no pay as of yet. |

The government of Tanzania has granted eighty acres to the MOP organization in the Mbeya Region of Western Tanzania on which to build a self-sustaining boarding school for orphans. OA would like to help them build the school and additional facilities. |

In August 2008, OA and MOP collaborated to officially open the Internet Café and Computer Training Center. |

The widows of the various MOP groups have banded together and desire to begin their own businesses. Many have identified the business that they would like to operate, but lack the funds to start. |
